This page is maintained by Botanic Ave. to explain, in plain language, how we handle the information you share with us. It describes our current practices and is not an independent certification or audit.
What we collect
Your contact details, the health history you share with us during consultations and intake forms, and any pathology or functional test results you provide or that we order on your behalf.
How it's stored
Clinical records are held in a password-protected practice management system with encrypted storage. Only your treating practitioner and our clinic administrator can access them.
Who we share it with
Nobody, unless you ask us to. With your consent we may share a summary with your GP or specialist, or send a testing request to a pathology provider. We never sell or trade your information.
How long we keep it
Clinical records are retained for seven years from your last consultation, in line with Australian health record requirements.
Accessing or correcting your records
You can request a copy of your records, ask us to correct them, or request deletion of non-clinical data at any time by emailing hello@botanicave.com.
